We had unscheduled visitors to the workshop this week, in the form of Police Constables John Roberts and Ollie Cross. As community constables in Crewe they are keen to foster awareness of people with special needs within the police force and establish links to minimise barriers or fears. Having heard about the facility, and after researching SCB via our website, they called in to find out more and view the facility first hand. As the photographs show both constables were given a warm welcome by the service users, who in turn enjoyed the interaction and informality of the visit.
Thank you John and Ollie for taking time to visit, we all hope you found it worthwhile and enlightening. Please feel free to drop in for a brew with us in the future.
