Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year

editscreen-shot-2015-07-23-at-11_56_26

Since 2009 Sainsbury’s stores have selected a ‘Local Charity of the Year’ to partner with, in their local communities, following an in-store vote of three shortlisted charities.  As a result of this process we are delighted to announce that the Sainsbury’s store on Edleston Road, Crewe, have selected SCB as their ‘Local Charity of the Year’ for 2016/17.

Running until 30 June 2017 the goal is to work together in achieving a successful impactful relationship through fundraising, awareness-raising, and publicity.  The benefits for Sainsbury’s may include team morale and unity, people development (through volunteering opportunities) and positive PR.

All associated with SCB would like to extend their thanks to the staff and customers at the Edleston Road store, for the nomination and votes, and to Sainsbury’s for this opportunity.  We look forward to a successful partnership in the coming months.
