A fantastic real-world learning experience!
Some of our trainees yesterday visited Reaseheath College with Libby as part of their ASDAN work.
The aim was to see a real production process in action—and they were lucky enough to watch cheesemaking taking place!
The trainees learned how cheese is made and explored the important health and safety practices followed within the workplace.
Alex said: “It was interesting to see how the cheesemaking process works. The most interesting part was seeing a machine that makes half a tonne of ice cream!”
While on site, the group also had the opportunity to look around Reaseheath Mini Zoo. Andrew said: “I enjoyed going out and seeing the cheese and animals.”
Experiences like this give our trainees valuable real-world learning and represent another big step towards achieving their ASDAN qualifications.
A huge thank you to James and Rachael for looking after everyone during the visit—and well done to all our trainees!
