Scolaquip visit
Richard Walton, a trustee of Supported Community Business (adults with additional support needs) Limited recently paid a visit to one of their loyal clients, Scolaquip, based in Middlewich to thank them for their continuing support.
Scolaquip have been supplying outwork to SCB for the past thirteen years. Initially supplying one line of crayons to pack, this has over the years developed into packing chalks and pencils as well as wax crayons in various quantities and formats. The supply of outwork to SCB has increased further recently, the company having been impressed by the enthusiasm of the service users at SCB in packing their products, the quality control measures in place, and the customer service offered.
Having been shown around the Scolaquip facility by John McInerney (Operations Manager), Richard commented that “at SCB, we are most grateful for the continuing support of companies such as Scolaquip. We do recognise that we have to provide a high quality of service to them and today has been an opportunity to re-emphasise our commitment to them in this respect”. John responded by saying that “these levels of service allow our company to achieve on time and dispatch to customers who require their goods early. The quality of work carried out by your service users is always to the highest standard, which is very important to our customers who are mainly education suppliers and retail”.
