Mayoral visit

SCB were delighted to welcome His Worshipful the Mayor of Cheshire East and the Mayoress to the workshop during this week. Both the Mayor, Councillor Arthur Moran, and Mayoress showed great interest in how the workshop had developed over the years, the variety of tasks being carried out, and the positive and welcoming atmosphere generated. Service users took great delight in being able to demonstrate and showcase their skills and in return the Mayoral party interacted openly, enquired about the tasks being carried out and even turned their hand to some tasks. The Mayoral party were joined on the tour of the facility by the Mayor’s chauffeur, David, and Hannah, a year twelve student on work experience. SCB would like to extend their gratitude to both the Mayor and Mayoress for taking time to visit the workshop facility. We hope you enjoyed your time with us.
