At SCB, we believe that getting there is just as important as being there. That’s why we’re launching SCB Open Road — a new outreach programme that takes our support beyond the workshop and out into the community.

Open Road is designed to help adults with additional support needs explore the world around them. It will create real opportunities for volunteering, workplace visits, deliveries, and attending events — all of which build confidence, develop life skills, and promote genuine inclusion.

But there’s a problem.

Our current vehicle is ageing and won’t meet the needs of our growing service for much longer. Without reliable transport, Open Road can’t run — and that means missed opportunities for the people who need them most.

We’re asking for your help to raise funds for a safe, accessible, and reliable vehicle that will keep our community connected and moving forward.
